Kenny is saved!

​We are delighted that Lambeth Council have responded so positively to our campaign to Save Kenny. Their planned budget for 2026/27 includes money for the required restoration work.

There is a lot to do before work will start on the bowl and we are looking forward to seeing how the project develops over the next 2-3 months. An updated project plan and financial protocols will be put in place,  a new contract tendering exercise will be required and further surveys are likely to be needed. 

Massive thanks to everybody who supported FoKP’s campaign to persuade Lambeth not to break their promise to restore the park’s iconic skatebowl. YOU are the reason it’s been a success – we couldn’t have done it without you!
