The 'Save Kenny' campaign was featured on ITV News

The campaign to save Kennington Park’s legendary 1970s skatebowl – known as Kenny – has now featured on ITV news this week.

Friends of Kennington Park’s committee member and campaign spokesperson, Marnie Searchwell, joined skateboarders at the bowl earlier this week to show the news crew around the iconic bowl and explain why we need to save this iconic much loved site.

This follows a ‘Save Kenny’ protest outside Lambeth Town Hall last week – which Brixton Buzz rounds up in a selection of photos.

Please keep signing and sharing our petition to save the skatebowl which is closing in on 2,000 signatures. We need as many people to support the campaign to persuade Lambeth to not kill Kenny off.
