Bat Hunt!

Our first Bat Hunt of 2026! Coming up on Friday, April 10th. Meet at the History Hut in the park at 8pm.

Dr Iain Boulton will lead our Spring Bat Hunt … hopefully, the pipistrelle bats will now be out of hibernation. Iain will tell us all about these amazing creatures, and he’ll bring sonic bat detectors to share.

This is a free event, but please – if you want to take part, support the Friends of Kennington Park. It’s just £6 per person for a year, or £10 for a household. Just click the button below.

No dogs please. It may be chilly in the evening, so do wrap up. And bring a torch, as it will be dark when we leave the park.
